Through our Go Serve Big mission, we are still boldly on a mission to raise $25,000 for Feed the Need for 2019! We do this by donating a portion of our income from homes we sell to Feed The Need of Marion County. Right now, there are kids that don’t have clean clothes, a pair of shoes, a pillow, a bed, a roof. These kids come to school hungry and have nowhere to turn, except the Rock and Feed the Need. These kids are able to have a breakfast, a lunch clothes, shoes, school supplies and somewhere they can go for a hug, a conversation, a prayer. This is a huge concern for our community. Feed the Need has been able to put support locations at many of the high schools in Marion County. We need your help to continue to support this great need.
I grew up right here in Marion County. Mostly raised in the Belleview area. I remember when I first heard about a brother and sister close to our family without a place to call home. I remember them coming to live with us for a while. It was then that my mother started reaching out and taking other children in. Some of these children had a roof over their head and some did not. It was then that I began to pay closer attention to the issue in Marion County. Since then, I have learned that it is a collection of hard-working and good hearted people, all coming together for a common cause. That cause is to help young people overcome unfortunate situations that life sometimes throws our way. Being in Ocala, FL, I take pride in supporting in a way that I can, the good work these people do at Feed The Need. My team rally’s around our annual goal of raising money and donating portions of our income to help Feed The Need in helping these 3000+ children have a pillow to lay their heads on at night. My team and I are committed to providing outstanding results for buyers and sellers referred to us by our past clients. I have discovered that Feed The Need shares similar commitments to their patients. And since their services survive on sponsorships and donations, we are happy to contribute and proud to support them.
